Day 21: Last day in Syracuse

These are my raw notes for that day. Not sure how helpful they would be for anyone.

• Cannoli are always good (ideally without nuts on the end)
• Granita are great in Sicily
• At the Neapolis Archeaological Park you can see the difference and similarities between Greek and Roman theatres. It’s not that hard.
• Dionysius’ ear is a limestone cave carved out of the Temenites hill near the city. It’s massive and, surprisingly, does deliver on the sound amplification.
• Museum Archeologico of Syracusa is a museum of pots. That’s how it was described in our research. We expected it was an exaggeration but no. As of today, we’re now done with pots.
