Before writing most of the log entries I take notes. As you’ve might have noticed during our past couple of vacations, I often group post and post with a delay. In order to remember what’s the whole day was about (because just saying it’s day 20 does help my memory much), I take some quick notes during the day. Today’s note contained this little gem that defined the day oh so well: “Holy crap, Siracusa is way better than Catania!”

Worry people of Catania, maybe we missed the good part while walking from the train station to our hotel or while going through the historic center. However, the part we saw reminded us more of Naples without the beautiful scenery.
Smooth train ride with only a 8 minute delay. On time by Sicilian standards.

Palazzo Bellomo had a great stone coat of arms. That’s about all I had in my notes for that day. We’re heading home soon, so I’m a little less into note-taking.
